Betsy Hare

Betsy Hare has a diverse work experience starting with their current position as a Senior Project Lead at Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center. In this role, they lead teams, manages workflows, creates tools and processes, and facilitates strategic planning and alignment.

Prior to their role at Chick-fil-A, Betsy worked at Somo Global as an Agile Coach and Agile Facilitator. Betsy helped transform teams from a waterfall approach to agile methodologies and established a partnership with Salesforce. At Somo Global, they worked directly with clients and agile teams.

Before joining Somo Global, Betsy worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Scrum Master. Betsy also served as the Campus Director at The Iron Yard, where they managed a team and supported a community of staff, students, and partners. Betsy also has experience as an Instructional Technology Specialist at Dorchester District Two and as a Payroll Specialist at Paychex.

Overall, Betsy has demonstrated expertise in project management, agile methodologies, leadership, and training and has gained valuable experience in various industries throughout their career.

Betsy Hare completed their Bachelor's of Science in Middle Level Education with a focus on English and Social Studies from Winthrop University. Betsy attended Winthrop University from 2005 to 2009. Following their bachelor's degree, Betsy pursued a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology at Lesley University from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Betsy Hare has obtained several certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. Betsy obtained the Google Educator certification from Google for Education in September 2014. In August 2017, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through Scrum Alliance. Subsequently, they obtained a certification in Agile Team Facilitation from the ICAgile in May 2019.

Betsy continued to expand their expertise in Agile methodologies by acquiring certifications in Agile Coaching from ICAgile in July 2021, Business Agility Foundations from ICAgile in December 2022, and Lean Portfolio Management from ICAgile in September 2023. Moreover, they gained proficiency in Salesforce through certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, and Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant in September and October 2020. Betsy'scertification journey also includes becoming a Certified SAFe 5 Release Train Engineer from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2020.
