Steven Hammond

Steven Hammond is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in process improvement and material handling systems. Currently, as a Senior Lead Engineer at Chick-fil-A Corporate since July 2020, Steven leads innovative solutions and optimizations. Prior roles at Publix Super Markets from March 2007 include Process Improvement Consultant and Senior Process Improvement Engineer, where contributions focused on analytical support, facility layout, and labor standards for over 2200 associates. Steven also co-founded and served as CEO for two companies, Trim DIY and Trim Services Painting, from 2016 to 2019. An MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Emory University complements a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a Certificate in Spanish Studies from Universidad de Salamanca and a short educational experience at Fudan University in China.
