Stefan Herdinius

Stefan Herdinius is an accomplished regulatory affairs leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Currently serving as the Head of Global Regulatory Affairs and Vice President at Chiesi Group since September 2022, Herdinius focuses on people development, innovation, and operational excellence to enhance global regulatory capabilities. In addition, Herdinius represents EFPIA companies in the Management Committee and Assembly of the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) since January 2025. Previous roles include Executive Regulatory Science Director at AstraZeneca, Managing Director and founder of Wave and Rock, Vice President of Strategic Drug Development at ActoBio Therapeutics, and various leadership positions at UCB and Tibotec. Herdinius holds an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School and a Master of Science in Pharmacy from Uppsala University.
