Nikki Garro

Nikki Garro has a diverse work experience in the field of public health and policy. Nikki is currently serving as the Director of Early Childhood Health at Child Care Aware of America since August 2020. Prior to this, they held positions such as Senior Director of Policy at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from January 2019 to July 2020, Director of Public Policy Research at March of Dimes from October 2011 to December 2018, and Associate Service Fellow at the National Center for Health Statistics from September 2010 to October 2011. Nikki also worked as a Research Associate at the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families & Communities from October 2003 to August 2010 and as a Research Specialist at Public Health Foundation Enterprises (California Medical Home Project) from June 1998 to November 2004.

Nikki Garro completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Nikki then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Health degree from UCLA, attending from 1997 to 1999.
