Candace Sorensen

Candace Sorensen has extensive experience in early childhood education and quality improvement, currently serving as a Quality Improvement Specialist at Child Care Network since August 2000. In addition to this role, Candace has held positions as a Resource & Referral Liaison, Training Assistant, and Communications Specialist within the organization. Prior to joining Child Care Network, Candace worked at Best Beginnings Child Care Center from 1996 to 2000 as an Early Childhood Professional, where responsibilities included supporting the Program Director with accounts receivable, conducting parent tours, managing day-to-day operations, and facilitating staff meetings. Candace played a key role in planning and implementing a High/Scope curriculum tailored to pre-kindergarten children's needs and conducted home visits and parent conferences to enhance communication and support. Education was pursued at Washtenaw Community College.
