Melanie Berry is an experienced early childhood education professional with a focus on quality improvement and professional development. Currently serving as a Quality Improvement Specialist for Child Care Network since September 2018 and a PD Specialist for CDA Council since September 2019, Melanie has a robust background in managing and enhancing early care and education services. Previous roles include Project Manager for the Great Start to Quality initiative at Saginaw ISD and Coordinator of Early Childhood and Child Care Services at Lapeer Community Schools. With a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University, Melanie has dedicated over 20 years to fostering high-quality learning experiences for young children.

Child Care Network is a non-profit organization whose mission has served the Michigan community since 1971 by helping families find care, helping families pay for care, and helping early learning professionals provide quality child care. Since our beginning, more than 10,000 children have had access to quality early learning experiences in the Southeastern Michigan counties of Genesee, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe and Washtenaw.
