Andy Whitehead

Andy (Brianna) Whitehead is a dedicated social worker currently serving as a Foster Care and Adoption Social Worker at Child and Family Services of Erie County, Inc. since August 2023. Previously, as a Program Assistant for the Food Recovery Network, responsibilities included providing support to student chapters and managing data entry. Andy has extensive experience in various capacities within social work and education, including roles at the University at Buffalo, where duties ranged from researching climate justice to leading student services and programs. With a Master's degree in Social Work and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Health and Human Services, complemented by minors in Counseling Psychology and Education, Andy has developed a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of social work. Leadership experience includes coordinating initiatives aimed at diversity, community advocacy, and program development for various organizations.
