Synthia Knapp

Synthia Knapp, LMHC, currently serves as a Full Service School Therapist at Child Guidance Center, Inc., since August 2021. Previously, Synthia was an OspreyPERCH Counselor Intern at the University of North Florida, where responsibilities included solution-focused therapy, holistic wellness assessments, and involvement in mental health promotion. Synthia also held a position as a Graduate Assistant at Hicks Honors College, mentoring students on community awareness and diversity. Earlier experience includes pet sitting and roles at the UNF Welcome Center and KNEWCO LLC. Synthia holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy in Counseling, both from the University of North Florida, along with a Bachelor of Arts in General Psychology.
