Vonshea Banks

Vonshea Banks currently serves as a Rapid Responder at Child Guidance Center, Inc, providing immediate crisis intervention services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for mental health crises since November 2022. As an Independent Contractor and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern since March 2021, Vonshea has delivered virtual mental health services, conducting assessments and facilitating therapy sessions. Previous experience includes working as an Associate Therapist at Cerebral, where Vonshea conducted assessments and facilitated group therapy sessions. Prior to transitioning to mental health, Vonshea worked as a Claims Adjuster at UnitedHealth Group for nearly eight years, focusing on insurance claims analysis and resolution. Vonshea holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, with ongoing doctoral studies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Capella University.
