Jonathan Palma

Dr.Palma is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine at Stanford University. In addition to this he holds a clinical role in newborn intensive care and an administrative appointment as Medical Director of Clinical Informatics Innovation at Stanford Children’s Health.

He completed his Master’s in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford and became board certified in Clinical Informatics with the inaugural diplomates in 2013, and served as Program Director for the Stanford Clinical Informatics Fellowship.

His clinical informatics efforts focus on innovating by extending the EHR with integrated mobile and web apps to enhance the quality and safety of patient care and improve the provider experience. His academic interests include clinical data analysis and interventional informatics to achieve examples of a learning healthcare system.
