Smt Sulagna Roy

Smt Sulagna Roy did her Graduation in Psychology from Mumbai University and Masters from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

She started her career in the urban project of CINI in Kolkata in November 1989. Prior to CINI she had taken up responsibilities as counsellor and special educator for children with special needs in REACH. She spent four years in Bhutan where she first ran her own preschool for the children and later she worked as a principal of a school.

After ten years in CINI she joined UNICEF as education specialist in October 1999. She spent twenty years as Education specialist in UNICEF working in the states of West Bengal, Assam and Rajasthan. Besides Education specialist she had also taken up the added responsibilities as Child protection specialist in UNICEF for a couple of years.
