Elif Bengi is a dedicated research assistant with experience in child and adolescent psychology, currently working at the Child Mind Institute on the Healthy Brain Network. Prior to this role, Elif was involved at New York University, focusing on improving literacy and early reading rates among refugee children and leading the "1 Million Books" project. Previous internships include conducting therapy sessions and administering psycho-education at Fransız Lape Hastanesi, addressing the needs of various patient populations at Moodist Psikiyatri ve Nöroloji Hastanesi, and recording patient information at Madalyon Psikiyatri Merkezi. Additionally, Elif contributed to research on predicting psychosis onset in youths at Mount Sinai Health System. Elif holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Developmental and Child Psychology from New York University.
