Safiya Addison

Safiya Addison has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 2022 to the present, they have worked as the Director of Implementation and Outreach at Child Mind Institute. Prior to that, they held roles at Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, where they served as the Director of Communications and Partnerships from 2019 to 2022 and the Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships from 2019 to 2022. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Marketing and Business Management Consultant at The Influencer Group from 2012 to 2019 and as a Community Relations Specialist at the New York City Department of Health & Mental from 2011 to 2012. Safiya also gained experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Brooklyn Methodist as the Director of Events Planning and Fundraising from 2009 to 2010 and the Director of Community Marketing from 2006 to 2009.

Safiya Addison has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Howard University. Safiya also holds a Certificate in Public Relations and Applied Communication from NYU School of Professional Studies. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, both from St. Joseph's University.
