Ian Shaw-Zak

Ian Shaw-Zak is an experienced Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, currently employed at the Child Therapy Institute since 2019. In addition to this role, Ian operates as a self-employed Somatic Movement Therapist since April 2012. Previous experience includes serving as Assistant Faculty at the Center For Kinesthetic Education in 2012 and providing kinesiology and movement education in private practice from 2004 to 2011. Ian's educational background includes a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, as well as certifications in Somatic Bodywork and Somatic Movement Education. Ian also holds a BSc. in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and has extensive training in Qigong and Kungfu.
