Natalia Pane possesses extensive experience in research and operations within educational and social science organizations. Currently, Natalia serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Child Trends, following roles as Senior Vice President for Research and Operations. Prior positions include Managing Associate and Executive Director for the NAEP ESSI at the American Institutes for Research, as well as a Visiting Scholar at the National Academy of Sciences. Natalia began their career as an Analyst at the American Institutes for Research and held the position of Managing Analyst for the CMH at the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth, and Their Families. Academically, Natalia holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and has completed all but dissertation for a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Delaware.

The Early Childhood Data Collaborative (ECDC) supports state policymakers’ development and use of coordinated state early care and education (ECE) data systems. The ECDC provides tools and resources to encourage data-driven state policy changes and provide a national forum to support the development and use of coordinated state ECE data systems.
