Tamara Halle worked at Child Trends as a Co-Director of Early Childhood Research starting in July 1997. Before this, they worked at the Center for Developmental Science as an NICHD Postdoctoral Research Fellow from 1994 to 1997.
Tamara Halle obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland from 1983 to 1987. Tamara then pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology between 1987 and 1994.

The Early Childhood Data Collaborative (ECDC) supports state policymakers’ development and use of coordinated state early care and education (ECE) data systems. The ECDC provides tools and resources to encourage data-driven state policy changes and provide a national forum to support the development and use of coordinated state ECE data systems.
