Teri Kook is an experienced leader in child welfare and family resilience strategies, currently serving as Senior Program Associate at Children and Family Futures since 2018. Teri develops training and technical assistance programs to enhance collaboration among substance abuse prevention, mental health, child welfare, and family courts. Previously, Teri held roles such as Vice President of Family Resilience Strategies at Empire Health Foundation, where a portfolio of grants aimed at interrupting the intergenerational transmission of Adverse Child Events (ACES) was designed and implemented. Teri was also the Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer at Family Impact Network, leading Washington's first Network Administrator of child welfare performance-based contracting. Prior experience includes Senior Director of Child Welfare at Stuart Foundation, Chief of Child Welfare Services at Stanislaus County, and Adjunct Professor at California State University, Stanislaus. Teri holds a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Stanislaus, and a Master of Social Work from San Jose State University.
