Special Education Head Teacher at Children's Academy

Eric Raybon has a diverse work experience. Eric started working as a Sailing Instructor/Coach at Monmouth Boat Club in 2010 and continued until 2011. Eric then interned at Todé, The Artistry of Landscape in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Maintenance employee at Aero Jet Wash for a brief period. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Landscape Designer/Project Manager at Plant Specialists LLC. Eric worked as an Account Manager at BrightView Landscapes from 2016 to 2017 before joining Town & Gardens Ltd. as a Crew Member from 2017 to 2018. Eric then worked as a Design Assistant/Project Manager at Plant Specialists LLC from 2018 to 2020. Since 2020, they are currently employed at Children's Academy, where they started as a Special Education Assistant Teacher before being promoted to Special Education Head Teacher in 2021. Additionally, they also worked as a Creative for The Shine Brighter Foundation from 2016 onwards.

Eric Raybon attended Hunter College from 2019 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Special Education and Teaching. Prior to this, they attended the University of Maryland from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Landscape Architecture (BLA).

Children's Academy

The Children’s Academy is an integrated, multidisciplinary K-12th grade school for children with speech and language delays. We strongly believe in the academic potential of all children and we strive to ensure that our students realize their full capabilities. The goal of the Children’s Academy is to empower each student by combining a rigorous academic curriculum with individualized support to nurture the child’s strengths and re-mediate areas of weakness.
