Dan Powers

Dan Powers has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations. Dan began their career in 1988 as a Child Protective Service Specialist at the Texas Department of Human Services. From 1991 to 2000, they worked as a Clinical Social Worker at Behavioral Healthcare Options / Permanente Medical Assoc. In 2000, they joined the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County as a Senior Vice President / Clinical Director and later became the Chief Operating Officer in 2017.

Dan Powers completed their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree from the University of North Texas, where they attended from 1985 to 1988. Dan later pursued their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at The University of Texas at Arlington, attending from 1989 to 1990.
