Kristany Kay has extensive experience in social work and behavior therapy, currently serving as a Family Advocate and previously as a Child Care Specialist at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County since February 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Behavior Therapist at The Behavior Exchange, Inc. and The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, LLC., as well as an internship as a Family Advocate Intern Caseworker at the same children's advocacy center. Kristany Kay started a career in administration as an Assistant at McGowen & Fowler, PLLC. Educationally, Kristany Kay holds a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides safety, healing and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community. We envision a community free from child abuse. The Center utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to facilitate the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse. Working collaboratively with law enforcement and Child Protective Services, the Center brings all services to abused children under one roof to minimize additional trauma to vulnerable children. Each year, more than 3,300 children and non-offending family members receive help from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County because of allegations of abuse or neglect. All children deserve the chance to heal. There are no waiting lists, and our services are offered free of charge for as long as help is needed.
