Carleigh May

Carleigh May is a dedicated medical assistant with extensive experience in clinical settings, currently employed at UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics since December 2020. Responsibilities include organizing patient flow and physician schedules while identifying workflow improvement opportunities. Previously, Carleigh served as a Patient Care Technician in interventional cardiology, assisting with patient assessments and treatment plans, and worked as a research fellow at the University of Pittsburgh where an original study on pain scales was conducted. Additional roles have included a research assistant in clinical neuroscience and a resident assistant at Chatham University, demonstrating strong leadership and educational skills. Carleigh holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh, alongside prior educational experiences at Chatham University and Portersville Christian School.
