Joe Worthy has an extensive background in various educational and advocacy roles. Formerly serving as an Education Adviser at TERI and a Project Leader at City Year Boston, Joe has worked to support students in their transition from high school to college. Additionally, Joe has experience in advocating for youth issues through roles at Seneca County Court Appointed Special Advocates and Children's Defense Fund. Currently, Joe holds dual roles at Children's Defense Fund, overseeing leadership training and curriculum assessment nationally, while also serving as the Ohio Director of Youth Leadership and Organizing. Past roles include being a Student Ambassador and Resident Assistant at Heidelberg College.
