Christine Flavin Dombrosky has extensive experience in development and fundraising within various nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Sr. Development and Fundraising Coordinator at the Children's Home of York since August 2017, Dombrosky previously held the position of Director of Development at The Mix at Arbor Place from October 2014 to July 2017. Earlier roles include Development and Special Events Manager at Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley, and PT Development and Special Events at Millersville University of Pennsylvania. Dombrosky began a career in development at The Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired (VisionCorp) as Development and Special Events Coordinator from September 1999 to February 2005. Dombrosky earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Cabrini University.

Children's Home of York

As the oldest existing child and family centered social service agency in York County, the Children's Home of York provides comprehensive, accredited, community-based services to stabilize and strengthen children and families in need. Since our inception in 1865, the Children's Home of York has grown from an orphanage dedicated to caring for children left without families following the Civil War, to a comprehensive human service agency providing many valuable programs that benefit all ages. Fully licensed and accredited, Children's Home of York exists to improve the lives of children and families for the better. Each year we work with over 1,000 individuals to facilitate positive change and to make a brighter future for those experiencing difficult times Services located at our main campus just East of York City, include Diagnostic Evaluation Services, Emergency Shelter, Girls’ Center, Permanency Program (Foster Care and Adoption), and Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC) (currently for York County only). Programs operated in the community include BRIDGES Partial Hospitalization Program, the George Street Independent Living Program, STRIVE, and Tindall House.
