Amanda Gallagher has extensive experience in fundraising and administration, currently serving as a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for Children's Hospice South West since August 2017. Previously, Amanda worked at AXA PPP healthcare as a PA to the Head of Underwriting and Pricing from August 2015 to March 2017. Amanda’s career at Simplyhealth spanned nearly a decade, during which various roles included PA to the Head of Underwriting and Pricing, PA to the Commercial Director, Assistant to the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Personal Assistant to the Head of Customer Services, and Personal Care Advisor with a focus on customer services. Amanda's educational background includes studies at The Henley College from 2002 to 2004 and Cox Green School from 1997 to 2002.

Children's Hospice South West
Children’s Hospice South West cares for families with children and young people who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, who are unlikely to live to adulthood. At our three beautiful children’s hospices in Devon, Cornwall and Bristol, we support parents, brothers and sisters and the affected child from diagnosis towards bereavement and beyond. We can relieve the burden of caring for a sick child from families and allow them to spend precious time together focusing on just being a family. To face the reality of losing your child means those who desperately need our help face an uncertain and fragile future. We walk alongside them providing respite care, palliative and ultimately end of life care for their child. We need to raise just under £12 million a year to run our three hospices. The money that we receive from the Government is not guaranteed each year, therefore we need to rely entirely on voluntary contributions to safeguard our service into the future.
