Laura Marusinec

Laura Marusinec is a seasoned pediatrician and clinical improvement specialist with extensive experience at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin since July 2012. In the role of Primary Care Clinical Improvement Specialist and Epic EHR Specialist, Laura collaborates with the quality improvement team and primary care providers to enhance tools and training related to the Epic electronic health record system. Laura's expertise includes urgent care pediatrics and medical writing, offering freelance services since 2014 that encompass clinical guidelines, educational materials, and medical articles, particularly focused on pediatric and dermatologic content. Earlier experiences include dermatology clinical research fellowships and roles in pediatric dermatology and general pediatrics, contributing to a strong foundation in both clinical practice and medical communications. Laura holds a BS in Biology from Marquette University and an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
