Michael Gorham

Michael Gorham has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role was as the Director of Facilities Management at Children's Wisconsin, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Facilities at Mercyhealth Wisconsin and Illinois from June 2019 to March 2020. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at OSF Holy Family Medical Center as the Director of Plant Operations and later as a Director for a critical access hospital. Before that, they were a Facility Operations Manager at OSF HealthCare from 2009 to 2012. Michael also held managerial positions at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center and Simplex/Grinnell. Additionally, Gorham has a strong military background, having served in the US Army/Illinois National Guard from 1987 to 2007. Michael also has experience in the education sector, having worked as an Electronics Journeyman for Jefferson County Public Schools.

Michael Gorham received their Master's degree in Operations Management and Supervision from the University of Arkansas in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree and an Associate Degree from Western Illinois University from 2015 to 2017. In 2012, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at Robert Morris University - Illinois. Their education journey began with an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Graphic Design from Illinois Central College, which they earned from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Michael Gorham has acquired several certifications in various fields, including Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), Certified Building Operator (BOC), Certified Fire Alarm Test Inspection and Maintenance (CFAITMS), Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), and NICET II.
