Kathryn Mcburney

Kathryn McBurney currently serves as the Director of Marketing Communications at the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, a position held since April 2019. In addition to this role, Kathryn is the Principal Owner of Iris Walk Communications and serves on the Board of Governors for the Manitoba Museum, participating in the Revenue Committee. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Accounts at Tripwire Media Group, Vice President of Client Relations at Dooley Communications, and Communications Manager at the Regional Health Authorities of Manitoba, where Kathryn managed communications for Manitoba's Transforming the Cancer Patient Journey Initiative. Earlier in Kathryn's career, roles included Communications/Media Relations Specialist at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Event Communications for CNIB, along with various positions in marketing and communications at Cambrian Credit Union and Manitoba Hydro. Kathryn's educational background includes completion of Leadership Winnipeg and studies at RRC Polytech.
