Sherry Cannon

Sherry Cannon has over 30 years of work experience in various finance and operations roles. Sherry started their career as a Controller at C.H Inn & Suites Inc. in 1989 and held this position until 1995. From 1995 to 1996, they served as the Director of Finance and Administration at YM-YWCA of Winnipeg Inc. Sherry then joined Advanta Canada Inc. as a Finance Manager from 1996 to 2003. After that, Sherry became a self-employed Consultant, specializing in CPA and CA, until 2018. Since 2013, they have been working as the Vice President of Finance and Operations at Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

Sherry Cannon completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Manitoba from 1977 to 1982. Sherry then pursued further education and obtained a Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba between 1982 and 1985.
