Gary Barden

Gary Barden currently serves as the Medical Director and Nurse at High Trails Outdoor Science School since September 2024. Previously, Gary has held significant roles at CHOC Children's, starting in August 2019, as the Manager of the Command Center for Inpatient System Performance & Access and as Project Manager. At Kaiser Permanente, Gary worked from July 2018 to August 2019 as a Department Administrator and had a lengthy tenure from June 2003 to December 2017, during which multiple positions were held, including Department Administrator, Assistant Department Administrator, Project Manager & Supervising Senior Consultant, and Lead Licensed Vocational Nurse. Gary earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from California State University-Dominguez Hills between 2011 and 2014.
