Rick Oxley currently serves as the Senior Manager of School and Summer Nutrition at Children's Hunger Alliance, a position held since January 2019, where responsibilities include coordinating efforts to reduce childhood food insecurity in collaboration with schools and communities. Prior to this role, Rick managed school nutrition initiatives within the organization from January 2019 to August 2023. Prior to joining Children's Hunger Alliance, Rick gained extensive experience in educational leadership, serving as the Elementary Principal at Royal Manor Elementary within Gahanna Jefferson Schools from August 2003 to August 2018, and holding various roles, including teacher and principal, at Westerville City Schools from August 1985 to July 2003. Rick holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Youngstown State University.

Children's Hunger Alliance

Children’s Hunger Alliance ensures that children without access receive healthy food, nutrition education and physical activity. We do this by expanding school breakfast and afterschool meal programs, educating families and childcare providers to make healthy food choices, providing nutrition education and physical activities, and making sure there is a place for kids to eat when school is out for the summer.
