Juan Flores started their work experience in 2001 at Pathways LA as a Joint Quality Assurance staff member. Juan then moved to Real Estate Executives in 2008, where they worked as a Real Estate Agent and Loan Agent, providing client services. In 2009, they joined Assistance League of Southern California as an Administrative/ECS Contracts Manager, responsible for reviewing intake and eligibility determination for program placements and ensuring compliance. In 2011, Juan joined Children's Institute as the Director of Administration, ECS, overseeing compliance reports and enrollment for multiple agencies. Juan later moved on to become the Director of Program Compliance, managing program compliance and representing the agency in facility licensure. Currently, they are the Sr. Director of Operations and Compliance at Children's Institute, overseeing daily operations and collaborating with the executive team.
Juan Flores completed their high school education at Nogales High School from 1991 to 1994, earning a High School Diploma. Juan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, graduating in the years 2000. Additionally, Juan has obtained three additional certifications: the Hispanic & Latino Executive Leadership Program from McKinsey & Company in August 2022, the National CACFP Management Professional certification from The National CACFP Sponsors Association in May 2016, and the Community Counselor certification from the Southern California Community Counseling Center (SCCC), although no specific details regarding the completion dates were provided.
