David Sloan

David Sloan has a diverse work experience background. David currently holds the position of Co-Director of Global Events at the Children's Media Association, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Producer at Deutsche Welle starting in November 2019. Before that, they worked as a Producer at RNN-TV, Fios1 News from September 2018 to May 2019. David also served as a Sperling Fellow at The Christian Science Monitor from September 2017 to September 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project/Desk Assistant at PBS NewsHour from April 2014 to November 2015. David also gained experience as an Intern for Congresswoman Grace Meng, coordinating press releases, attending briefings, creating social media channels, editing videos, and designing communication materials. David started their career as an Aide to Mayor Richard Kaplan at the City of Lauderhill in August 2011. David also worked as a Staff Writer at Lynn University in January 2010 and as an Intern for ESPN Radio 106.3 FM from June 2008 to December 2008.

David Sloan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication: Media and Politics from Lynn University, spanning from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies at the same institution, from 2011 to 2012.
