Melissa Jones

Melissa Jones, CHPA, HS-BCP, CADC, is a seasoned professional in workplace violence prevention with extensive experience in health and human services. Currently serving as the Director of Workplace Violence Prevention at Children's Health since September 2025, Melissa previously held the position of Network Director of Workplace Violence Prevention Program at Inspira Health Network from October 2021 to September 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Network Workplace Violence Program Manager at Bayhealth, where responsibilities encompassed developing and implementing a comprehensive workplace violence program, conducting safety rounds, and facilitating risk assessments. Melissa's career began as a Human Services Administrator at Caroline County Department Of Social Services, where a focus was placed on supervising staff, ensuring compliance with performance goals, and maintaining case documentation. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Administration of Human Services from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Arts in History Teacher Education from Bridgewater College.
