Anton Hsu

Anton Hsu is a postdoctoral researcher at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, specializing in telomere biology and molecular cancer within the Harrington Lab of the Department of Biochemistry since June 2024. Previously, Anton was a PhD candidate at the Children's Medical Research Institute, focusing on telomere length regulation and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine and Health from the University of Sydney Medical School (class of 2024). Additionally, Anton served as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Sydney, where responsibilities included teaching lab practicals in cancer-related courses. Experience also includes managing operations and serving as head mechanic for UBCycles at the University of British Columbia Okanagan and an internship at Cayman Chemical, where work involved developing antibody kits and assays. Anton received the Undergraduate Research Award while researching mycorrhizal associations at the BRAES Institute and has completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at The University of British Columbia.
