Emily Snow

Emily Snow has a diverse background in behavioral health and healthcare administration. Emily currently serves as the Senior Administrative Director of Behavioral Health at Children's Mercy Kansas City. Prior to this, they were the Director of Behavioral Health Initiatives at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, where they strengthened and expanded behavioral health capabilities and launched a training program for employers. Emily has also worked as the Director of Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Operations at the University of Kansas Health System, overseeing a large team and improving patient safety. Emily held the position of Vice President of Hospital Services at Marillac, where they implemented an affiliation agreement with the University of Kansas Hospital and directed all inpatient hospital operations. Earlier in their career, Emily worked at KVC Behavioral Healthcare in various roles, including Director, Admissions Supervisor, and Admissions Coordinator. Emily was responsible for overseeing foster homes, managing operations and resources, and coordinating the placement of children in state custody.

Emily Snow earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Life from The University of Kansas. Emily then pursued a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Their educational background further includes a Master of Health Services Administration with a focus on Health Policy and Management from The University of Kansas.
