James Robert (Bob) Batterson, MD has extensive work experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. From 1993 to 1997, they served as a Child Psychiatrist and Medical Director at the Marrillac Center for Children, where they oversaw residential programs for boys, girls, and sexual perpetrators. In 1997, they joined Children's Mercy Kansas City, initially as the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Section Chief and later as the Medical Associate Division Director starting in July 2022. James Robert (Bob) also worked at health midwest as a Child Psychiatrist from 1993 to 1999.
James Robert (Bob) Batterson, MD completed their education in the field of Child Psychiatry at Brown Medical School from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they studied Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina from 1987 to 1991. James Robert (Bob) obtained their MD degree in Biology and Medicine with a minor in Communication Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine from 1981 to 1987.
