Anisah Daniel

Clinical Research & Health Equity Intern

Anisah Daniel is an accomplished academic and clinical research intern with diverse experience in health equity, medical emergency care, and public health advocacy. Currently, Anisah serves as an Academic Research Intern for the NIH CLEAN-MED study and a Clinical Research & Health Equity Intern at Children's National Hospital, focusing on patient registries for underserved communities. Previous roles include Emergency Medical Technician at The George Washington University Hospital and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the George Washington University School of Medicine, where Anisah contributed to vaccine research. As co-founder of the Food Allergies & Food Insecurity Policy Scan, Anisah has led significant projects in food allergy accommodations and received recognition from FARE. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of the NORD Chapter, advocating for rare disease education, and holding various research positions, including a COVID-19 project in Haiti. Anisah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at The George Washington University.
