Bridget Cronin

Bridget Cronin has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Bridget began their career in 1988 as a Sr. Laboratory Technician at Johns Hopkins Medicine before moving on to Children's National Medical Center where they held various roles, including Project Administrator and Laboratory Information System Manager. Bridget then worked as a Sr. Systems Analyst at Holy Cross Hospital before joining PHNS as a Manager. Bridget's most recent position was at Children's National Hospital, where they served as the Vice President of Operations and later as the Vice President of Operations Integration. In these roles, they oversaw a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, including security, environmental services, project management, operations improvement, and strategic planning. Bridget also has experience in construction and space planning, IT planning and development, and financial management. Overall, they have demonstrated success in implementing process improvements, managing large teams, and achieving cost savings and revenue opportunities.

Bridget Cronin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Loyola University Maryland, which they completed from 1984 to 1988. Bridget then pursued a Master of Science in Business Management from The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. In 1998 to 2001, Bridget obtained a Graduate Certificate in Information Resource Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Lean Healthcare from Belmont University in 2013. Bridget also holds several certifications, including being a Fellow of HIMSS (obtained in 2023), a FACHE from the American College of Healthcare Executives (obtained in 2017), and a PMP from the Project Management Institute (obtained in 2003).
