Nathan Lesser has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Nathan currently serves as the Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer at Children's National Hospital, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Chief Information Security Officer at the same hospital from July 2020 to January 2022.

In 2016, Nathan joined Cypient as an Advisor and later became the Chairman & Managing Director until 2020. Cypient is a cybersecurity company that provides various services to small and medium businesses.

Prior to that, they worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Associate, leading a team of cybersecurity engineers and providing strategic advice to senior executives.

Nathan also has experience in policy analysis, having worked as a Policy Analyst at the Office of Management and Budget from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they managed regulatory processes for the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Nathan briefly served as a Detailee at the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee in 2007.

Nathan's early career experience includes being the President of Sandbox Labs, where they formulated business strategies and developed a machine learning therapeutic system for students with learning disabilities.

Nathan Lesser obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University between 1996 and 2000. Nathan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University from 2003 to 2005.
