Syed Anwar

Syed Anwar has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Syed is currently an Associate Professor at The George Washington University and a Principal Investigator at Children's National Hospital, both starting in 2022. Syed has previously worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, starting in 2018. In 2020, they co-founded Sense Digital and served as the CTO. Syed has also co-founded EcoEdge AI in 2022, where they hold the position of CTO. Syed Anwar was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Central Florida from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Professor at UET Taxila from 2012 to 2018. Syed gained experience as a Teaching Assistant and Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2012. Syed began their career as an Executive Engineer at DVCOM LDI ( PVT ) Limited in 2005, holding the position until 2006.

Syed Anwar obtained a BEng degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, from 2002 to 2005. Syed then pursued an MSc in Data Communication at the University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2007. Finally, they completed their education with a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, also at the University of Sheffield, from 2008 to 2011.
