Michelle Cooper

Michelle Kasprzak is a prominent figure in the fields of art, design, and education, currently serving as the Founder of Little Earth Mountain in Hilversum, The Netherlands, since September 2024. At Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, Michelle holds the position of Course Leader for the Master Design at the Piet Zwart Institute and also contributes as a Postdoctoral Researcher, exploring the integration of art and design through the Dutch method of "building with nature." With a long-standing career as a Curator, Writer, and Event Host since 1999, Michelle has curated numerous exhibitions and moderated events for various notable organizations. Additional roles include serving as an Editor at Sandberg Instituut, Guest Curator for Noorderlicht Festival, and Graduation Supervisor at multiple universities. Michelle holds a PhD in Digital Media from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, complemented by a Master's degree in Media Arts from UQAM and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media from Toronto Metropolitan University.
