Amy Schiano

Amy Schiano is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) with a strong background in recreational therapy, currently serving as a Recreation Therapist at Children's Specialized Hospital since December 2019 and as a Recreational Therapist II at Overlook Medical Center since April 2018. With prior experience at Hoboken University Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center-Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute, Amy has worked extensively with diverse patient populations, including those recovering from serious injuries and neurological disorders. Amy's skills encompass clinical assessment, treatment planning, community re-integration programs, and leading recreational activities. An alumnus of Kean University, Amy holds a BA in Recreation Administration with a focus on Therapeutic Recreation.
