Abbey Robertson

Abbey Robertson, CTRS, is a dedicated recreation therapist with extensive experience in therapeutic recreation across various settings. Currently serving as a Recreation Therapist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since May 2023, Abbey previously worked at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital and Embracing Abilities, where responsibilities included providing recreational therapy to individuals in mental health and developmental disability programs. With a background in creating and implementing engaging programs for older adults and individuals with disabilities, Abbey has a solid foundation in both individual and group therapy. Abbey holds a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Slippery Rock University and is pursuing a Master's degree in the same field at Northwest Missouri State University.
