Sandra Miller

Sandra Miller is the AVP & Controller at The Children's Village. Sandra has over fifteen years of experience in the field of accounting and finance.

Sandra started their career at Harlem United in January 2014 as the Vice President of Finance. In this role, they oversaw Government Contracts and Grants, Payroll and Accounts Payable. Sandra was responsible for ensuring that vouchers and reports were submitted in a timely manner. Sandra also prepared the necessary tables for UDS, provided supporting documents for the FQHC cost report (Medicare and Medicaid), and aided in the preparation of the company's 990. In October 2016, they left Harlem United to join The Children's Village.

At The Children's Village, Sandra is responsible for reviewing monthly Financial Statements, Supervising Accounts Payable, Government Grants and Contracts, Accounting Staff and Payroll. Sandra also assists in the preparation of new year Budgets, leads the year end external audits, and is familiar with FQHC cost reporting and the preparation of Nursing home RHCF Cost Reports. Sandra is skilled in analysing general ledger accounts for classification of entries. Sandra works very closely with Accounts Receivable and has a full understanding of Mediciad and Managed Care reimbursement.

Sandra Miller has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Monroe College and a degree in accounting from the same school. Sandra has worked in the healthcare field for many years and is currently an accountant.
