Xavier began their career as an Editorial Assistant at Praktica, where they managed the creative community and wrote weekly website reviews. Xavier then worked as an Internet Analyst and Journalist at Benchmark Group, where they wrote tutorials, interviews, and reports for the technical/programming website Journal du Net Développeurs.

Xavier Borderie began their education in 1997 at EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique, where they studied computer programming. However, no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
