Robert Maxwell

Robert Maxwell has a strong background in security operations, incident response, and cybersecurity. Robert currently serves as a Senior Director of Security Operations and Incident Response at Chime, where they have been since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Salesforce from 2015 to 2020, initially as a Senior Manager and later as the Director of Global CSIRT. Before that, they held positions at the University of Maryland at College Park as an Instructor and at the University of Maryland College Park as the Manager of Security Operations. Additionally, they have had various contributing and mentoring roles at ANewDomain.net, SANS Institute, GroovyPost.com, Byte.com, and Elsevier throughout their career. Robert began their career at the University of Maryland Global Campus as a System/Security Administrator. Throughout their roles, Robert has demonstrated expertise in incident response, team leadership, and developing cybersecurity programs.

From 1988 to 1993, Robert Maxwell attended The Catholic University of America, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time there, they studied English and Math. In 1993, they transferred to Millersville University of Pennsylvania, but no specific degree or field of study is specified. In 2018, Robert enrolled at the Møller Institute, where they are currently pursuing a field of study called "Explorer Mindset."
