Yacoub Soumahoro, CAMS, AML-CA has extensive work experience in the financial industry, starting in 2010 at DTCC as a Senior Financial Intelligence Unit Analyst. Yacoub then moved on to roles at EY as a Senior Consultant, BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking as a Vice President, Mashreq Bank as a Senior Consultant, and currently holds the position of First Vice President - Head of Testing and Monitoring at China Construction Bank. Throughout their career, Yacoub has demonstrated expertise in AML compliance and risk management.

Yacoub Soumahoro, CAMS, AML-CA has pursued various certifications and degrees over the years to enhance their knowledge and skills. Yacoub is a Chartered Financial Analyst (Candidate) from the CFA Institute, holds a 3rd Degree Black Sash in Jun Fan Gung Fu from Nubreed Martial Arts Academy, completed Fundamentals of Financial Modeling and advanced Excel concepts from The Analyst Exchange, obtained a New York Real Estate License in 2004, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (Candidate) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. In addition, they hold the CAMS certification from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, focusing on Risk Management and Compliance. Additionally, they obtained the Microsoft Office Specialist - Microsoft Excel 2010 certification from Microsoft in 2013.
