Zhao Yang

Zhao Yang currently serves at China Development Bank since 2023. Previous experience includes a role as Director at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) from 2022 to 2023, where Zhao was the authorized signatory for the Exchange Fund of Hong Kong SAR of China. Prior positions include Executive Director at CMB International (2021-2022), Vice President at both Morgan Stanley (2018-2021) and J.P. Morgan (2015-2018), and Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (2013-2015). Zhao Yang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (2007-2013) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Toronto (2003-2007).
