Francisco Canela

Francisco Canela has extensive experience in the automotive and technology sectors, currently serving as the ADAS Function Owner at Zeekr Technology Europe since January 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing ADAS functions for various Geely group brands. Prior to this role, Francisco worked as an ADAS System Engineer at Avnet, specializing in software development for the AVAIL tool, and held a position as AVAIL System/Software Engineer. Earlier in 2019, a final thesis project at Hisland Solutions AB focused on the development of an autonomous differential drive robot, utilizing advanced technologies such as ROS navigation and SLAM algorithms. Francisco holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, along with an exchange program experience at Polytechnique Montréal and a technician degree in Automatic Control and Instrumentation from Centro de Enseñanza Técnica Industrial.
