John Weibull

John Weibull is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Cross Functional Team Leader at Volvo Group since May 2024, John leads product development initiatives. Prior to this role, John was Function Owner at CEVT from May 2015 to May 2024, overseeing the development of automotive functions, including Functional Safety. John also held positions as System Project Leader for Propulsion Integration and System Engineer for Automatic Transmissions at CEVT, where responsibilities included project leadership, design management, and supplier coordination. Earlier roles at Volvo Trucks and Volvo 3P involved team leadership and design engineering, respectively. John holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by further education at YH Akademin.
